With Mother’s Day on the horizon there’s no better way to give her the red carpet treatment – there’ll be champagne and hopefully a few celebrities on hand – and at the same time tell her how much you love her.
And all you have to do is nominate your mum and tell us why she’s one of our deserving winners.
“We’ve done this for the past few years and the response has always been terrific,” says Herbert who has been wielding his scissors in the city for more than four decades.
“Some of the stories we received about Merseyside mums moved us to tears here in the salon. Quite often it wasn’t the mums nominating themselves but their children, whether the kids were nine, 19 or 49.”
