Five men sought in hotel room sex assaults of two women
Two women were sexually assaulted by five men in their hotel room after celebrating New Year's Eve, police said.
The women met their alleged assailants at a public New Year's party. Police would not say where the party was, except that it wasn't at a bar, but rather a "New Year's celebration venue."
When the women returned to their hotel near Yonge and Bloor Streets shortly after 3 a.m., five men followed them back and came into the women's hotel room.
"They weren't invited back," said Toronto police Const. Joanne Tawton.
Once in the room, the men assaulted both women, then fled the hotel.
Police are trying to identify the alleged assailants, and have released descriptions of them. Four of them are described as 28 to 31 years old with brown skin.
One suspect is about 5-feet-nine-inches tall with a skinny build, brown eyes and black hair in a faux-hawk. He was clean-shaven and wore black dress pants, a black blazer, a white dress shirt, a black skinny tie, pointy black dress shoes and a D & G belt.
